THE PROJECT
Project:
VOYAGE
Designed to feel artful, warm, and inviting, Voyage blends Northern California influences with sculptural moments that make the space feel both grounded and elevated. The carved redwood elements bring a sense of craft and place — with fluted columns and organic hand-carved details that add depth and texture. Deep brown plaster walls, cobblestone at the bar, wood-wrapped stone tabletops, and exterior pavers repurposed as interior tile all contribute to the layered, tactile palette. New Douglas fir flooring, fabricated using old-growth Douglas fir, adds warmth and a quiet sense of history underfoot.
The custom backbar is a standout: a sculptural centerpiece that feels one-of-a-kind, like a functional work of art.
While the project worked within the footprint of an existing bar, the transformation involved softening the architecture and layering in new materials to give the space an entirely fresh energy.
