From the start, there was a natural alignment between Martha’s ethos and our approach to design. Working with her and her team was a true collaboration—what began as a consultation evolved into a hands-on process that fully embraced her DIY spirit.

We approached the space much like her winemaking practice: honest, natural, and grounded in craft and patience. Designed to be achievable and adaptable, many elements were built in-house by her team. Rich cork wall panels bring warmth and texture, while lime-painted burlap and layered plaster add depth and tactility. The copper backsplash and tabletops were chosen for their ability to patina beautifully over time, echoing the evolving nature of the wines themselves.

Every material choice reflects Martha’s ethos—unpretentious, grounded, and expressive of its place. The result is a space that feels quietly alive, where natural light, texture, and time work together in harmony.
