With a focus on hospitality, boutique commercial environments, and select residential work, our approach is holistic—balancing form and feeling, detail and intuition.
Each project is a collaboration shaped by the spirit of the site, the lives of those who move through it, and the material language it calls for. We work with natural textures, soft contrasts, and timeless forms to create interiors that feel special and grounding.

The Strand takes its name from a small beach in Ireland where Margaret’s father grew up—a remote peninsula that holds a sense of gentle magic. That deep connection to land, craft, and family continues to inform each project.
INSPIRATION
Inspiration is drawn from the poetry of place - the coastlines, rolling golden hills, and soft light of CaliforniaNatural materials. Honest craftsmanship. Timeworn surfaces. Light, movement, stillness.
